Rock n Roll in Soho

Get Ready rock fans, Bloomberg announced today that a Rock n Roll hall of fame annex will open on Mercer Street. Set to open in November, it will feature some reat artists and memorabilia such as Bruce Springsteen's 1957 Chevy (which Bloomberg sat in for some candid shots on Wednesday!)

Bloomberg stood along music idols Billy Joel and Clive Davis, as well as officials form the Hall of Fame to announce the planned opening of the Hall. Bloomberg stated, "this is where Ed Sullivan met the Beatles, where Lou Reed took a walk on the wild side." That's right, it's about time we pay tribute to the Rock n Roll side of SoHo!

Well, in the midst of being a bit depressed summer is approaching its closure, I must say we now have a reason to look forward to November.

No.. It's not a new Iphone.. Apple presents THE JONAS BROTHERS!

The scene outside of the Apple Store appeared as if they were releasing a new Iphone on Tuesday. However, we were a bi concered since it consisted primarily of teeny bopper girls (I understand today's youth is in with technology but come on, I don't even have an Iphone yet!)

I love the Apple store and am a huge fan of all things Apple, but I don't know if I will ever understand the people who camp out for days just to be the first to get a new peice of technology.

Relief came when we found out the line wrapping around the entire block was for the Jonas Brothers, who were performing live at the APple Store! Although I am not familiar with any of their songs, I totally respect and understand camping out for a music performance.

So, cheers to the Jonas Brothers and I hope the show was well worth the wait for all of the followers!
